Anirudh Singh joined Canaan Partners’ India office in December 2009 as an Investment Analyst. He currently helps support the firm’s Indian investments across a diverse range of sectors, including digital media and advertising, financial services, e-commerce, outsourcing, healthcare, telecom and energy/infrastructure.
Prior to joining Canaan, Anirudh was an Assistant Manager at Deloitte in the corporate finance practice in Gurgaon, India. At Deloitte, Anirudh worked on M&A advisory assignments in the energy and infrastructure space. Previously, Anirudh interned with General Atlantic Partners in Mumbai, where he was involved in deal sourcing, sector mapping, and financial and strategic due diligence across sectors such as healthcare, IT, energy and infrastructure.
Anirudh received his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. While at IIMA, Anirudh managed an INR 10 million-fund for investment in early-stage companies in the cleantech area. Anirudh also co-founded the first Venture Capital and Private Equity club across all of the IIM campuses in India. He earned a BE degree in electrical engineering from Thapar University, Punjab.
