With a background in chemistry and biology, Felice Lu joined Canaan in 2006 and helps the healthcare team identify key opportunities in the diagnostic, biopharmaceutical and medical device industries. A scientist at heart, Felice is passionate about analyzing the potential for science to improve the practice of medicine.
Previously, Felice analyzed investment opportunities for a life science venture fund at Burrill & Company, a venture capital firm focused on healthcare. Felice has also spent time as a market analyst, performing market and product reviews and competitive financial assessments at Genentech, one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies.
Felice received a PhD in chemistry and chemical biology from UC San Francisco, and holds a BS in chemistry with distinction from Harvey Mudd College.
