John Lambrech joined Canaan in 1995 and has held a number of positions during his tenure with the firm. As Director of Finance, John is responsible for a full spectrum of the Canaan’s finance, accounting and investor relations initiatives. In addition, John has co-led the development of several custom IT system solutions utilized for Limited Partner reporting and communications, investment benchmarking and financial and operational administration.
Prior to this position, John served as an Operations Associate from 2000 to 2004 and as an Investment Analyst from 1995 to 1999. Prior to joining Canaan, John worked as a CPA for Ernst & Young in the Entrepreneurial Services Group.
John holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BS in Accounting and Economics from SUNY Oneonta.
