Brendan Dickinson

Brendan Dickinson joined Canaan Partners’ New York office in 2011 as an Associate on the Technology team. He focuses on the team’s digital media, advertising, and e-commerce investments in the New York corridor.

Brendan previously served as an intern for a year at Canaan Partners, helping lead M&A modeling and analyzing term sheets for portfolio company acquisitions and inside rounds, and vetting potential digital media investments. Prior to joining Canaan, Brendan was a spring associate at AppFund, a seed-stage venture firm focused on the mobile sector. He previously worked as a senior quantitative analyst at Barclays Capital on the equity and credit financing division, where he designed and built a P&L reporting application for Equity Financing Desks in US, Europe, and Asia that increased book efficiency from 12% to 30% globally.

Brendan received an MBA with distinction from the NYU Stern School of Business, where he specialized in Finance and Entrepreneurship and was a Stern Scholar. He also holds an MS degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a BA in Political Science from Bowdoin College.
