Guy Russo joined Canaan in 1988 and serves as CFO and Administrative General Partner. Guy oversees the operational, financial and administrative aspects of the firm including the development of several custom systems utilized for Limited Partner reporting and communications and investment benchmarking. Prior to Canaan, Guy worked with investment firms and entrepreneurial companies for over four years as a Senior Accountant in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young. He holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Connecticut and is also a CPA. In addition, Guy serves as Officer on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society’s New England Division and the board of the Newtown Scholarship Association.
