Guy Russo has served as the CFO and Administrative General Partner at Canaan since 1997. He has over twenty three years of finance and administrative experience in venture capital. In his role at Canaan he has lead the development of several custom systems utilized for Limited Partner reporting and communications, investment benchmarking and financial and operational administration. Prior to joining Canaan as Controller in 1988, Guy worked with investment firms and entrepreneurial companies for over four years as a Senior Accountant in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young. Guy holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Connecticut and is also a CPA. In addition, Guy serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society’s New England Division.
