Steve Green

Steve joined Canaan in November 1991 as a General Partner, bringing a broad background in financing companies involved in manufacturing; retailing; radio, television, and cable broadcasting; and financial services.

Steve began his career with GE in 1973 and held a variety of financial positions. From 1983 to 1991, he was with GE Venture Capital and GE Capital’s Corporate Finance Group, providing debt and equity financing for start-up companies and leveraged buyouts. Steve is a graduate of Amherst College.

He serves on the Boards of Directors of BiddingForGood, Caris Life Sciences, Dean Foods, The Active Network, and Verance.
