Brendan invests in startups that are changing the world with code in the fintech, e-commerce and frontier tech sectors. He built Canaan’s investment thesis in insurance and is passionate about companies that re-imagine how financial services products are purchased and sold. Previously, Brendan was a senior quantitative analyst at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. He holds an M.B.A. with distinction from NYU Stern School of Business, an M.S. in Computer Science from Brown University, and a B.A. in Political Science from Bowdoin College.
